In December of 2006, as a member of Troop 362 of the Boy Scouts of America, he achieved his Eagle Scout rank upon completing the exterior restoration of the American Legion Post 133 in Sweet Home. Casey loved the great outdoors and being active. His interests included hiking, snowboarding, camping, playing soccer, and just hanging out with friends and family. He enjoyed everything from hiking the South Sister in Bend to surfing the Pacific Ocean in California. He was always up for the next adventure! One of his favorite pastimes was reading. Casey had found the perfect job working at Amber Unicorn Books in Las Vegas where he was able to use his vast knowledge and enthusiasm for literature. He loved his job and the people he worked with.
