Buddy Junior Kilgore, 76, of Sweet Home, Oregon passed away Wednesday, August 30. He was born in Pecola, Oklahoma to Castner and Ethel (Childress) Kilgore.

He moved to Albany at and early age, attended schools, and graduated from high school. He met Marian Ethel Goodwin in Albany, and they married in Reno, Nevada on March 31, 1968.

Buddy loved motorcycles, fishing, gardening, and traveling.

He is survived by three sons: Eric Strickland of Portland, Barry Baggett of Albany, and Dana Baggett of Scio; two daughters: Amy Howard of Lebanon and Lisa Combs of Sweet Home; step-son Jay Wright of Toledo; two step-daughters: Rhonda O’Hara of Grand Coulee, Washington and Christy Litz of Paso Robles, California; thirteen grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.

Sweet Home Funeral Chapel is handling arrangements.
