Brenda “Brinda” Fay Bradford, 63, of Sweet Home passed away Friday, March 28, 2025. She was born July 21, 1961 to Fern Suezanne (Howard) and James Everett Bradford in Battle Creek, Michigan.

She grew up in Michigan then lived in Philomath, Corvallis and Portland before returning to South Haven, Michigan in 1992 where she lived until 2020 then she moved to Portland. Brenda came to Sweet Home 2023.

Brenda was a home health care giver. Brenda enjoyed her job, she was a ray of sunshine for those she worked with and cared for.

She loved live music and festivals. She fiercely loved her siblings, children, nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, uncles and extended family. Family for her wasn’t always blood either, close friends and youth she took under wing were just as important to her as blood family. She loved nature, camping, and exploring untouched natural places. She loved to travel, roam and see vistas new to her. She liked to knit and do paint by numbers, she loved watching youtube videos on the supernatural and history. 

Brenda is survived by her siblings: Linda S. Smith, of Bloomingdale, MI, Peggie Lynne Garrison of Delton, MI; children: Tiffany Lynn Grau-Fay of Olympia, WA, James Everett Bradford II of Corvallis OR, Perry Jerold Bradford of Snake River OR; grandchildren: Davion Allen Grau-Fay of San Antonio TX, Sandor Gavin Grau-Fay of Spokane, WA, Barbara Alaine Scott of Junction City, OR, Rubee Jean Bradford of Greenfield, MO, Elle Rachele Dorman Bradford of Corvallis, OR, Perry Julien Dorman Bradford of Corvallis, OR. She was preceded in death by her father James Everett Bradford (2023), mother Fern Suezanne Howard (2000).
