Betty Bagley passed away February 8, 2026. She was 91 years old. Betty Elaine (Daniels) Bagley was born on November 4, 1934 in Revillo, South Dakota to Fred and Susie (Crowell) Daniels.

In June 1940 she came to Sweet Home with her parents, three siblings, her maternal grandparents and five unmarried aunts and uncles. Betty was the oldest of nine children. They were Louella, Marvin, Howard, Norene, Judy, Janet, Sally and Clifford.

Betty attended Sweet Home High School, graduating in 1952. In 1955 she attended Northwest Nazarene College in Nampa, Idaho. Betty then moved to Corvallis where she met her future husband, Timothy Bagley. They were married in August 1957.

Tim was involved in a logging business with his father. Betty and Tim lived in Svenson, Oregon for nine years where their four children, Gary, Brenda, Luanne and Sharon were added to their family.

In 1966 they moved to Estacada, Oregon. The spotted owl controversy began creating more problems in the forestry industry and in 1982 they moved to Sweet Home where Tim found work.

Betty and Tim were active in their communities where they lived and in the churches they attended. Betty used her musical abilities as church pianist and organist for many years. She also played for weddings and memorial services. Betty played for Hymn Sing at Wiley Creek Retirement Community for several years. A community in which she lived for 10 years beginning in 2015.

Betty is survived by her children, Gary, Brenda, Luanne and Sharon, her siblings Marvin (Sug) Daniels, Norene (Steve) Nelson, Judy McAdams, Janet (Jerry) Hillyard and Sally (Rod) Wolfer and many nieces, nephews and friends. She was proceded in death by her husband Tim (2006), her parents, brothers Clifford and Howard and his wife Jan and sister Louella and her husband Lloyd Emery.
