Barbara Hazel Record, 64, of Sweet Home passed away on Monday, July 6, 2026. She was born December 30, 1961 to Carol Ann (Crockett) and Robert Donald Moug in Lebanon, Oregon.

Barbara was an award-winning cross-stitcher, a lover of animals, and volunteered in Washington State as an animal rehabilitator. She also enjoyed reading and cherished the time she spent with her family. She was a loving mother and grandmother who brought warmth and care to her family.

She is survived by her son, Rhys Cyrus, and her two grandchildren, Michael Cyrus and Ashton Cyrus. She was preceded in death by her father, John Moug; her youngest son, Michael Peterson; and her granddaughter, Luna Cyrus.

She will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by all who knew her.
