Viewing will be at 10:00 a.m., Thursday, October 30, at South Albany Community Church, 2418 SE Geary St., Albany with funeral service starting at 11:00 a.m. Final burial will follow at Twin Oaks Cemetery and Mausoleum in Albany.
Arthur Robert Zentz, 77, of Albany, Oregon passed away Monday, October 27, 2014. He was born in Creston, Iowa to Harry and Arleta (Woolems) Zentz.
He worked as a millwright at Willamette Industries for 34 years. Arthur enjoyed building boats and woodworking.
He is survived by: his wife, Marie Zentz; sons, Kevin Zentz, Al Sims, and Greg Sims, all of Albany; daughters, Chilja Stevens and Angie Bulakites, both of Vancouver, Washington, and Jan Smith of Walton; brother, Ed Zentz of Albany; sisters, Thelma Miller of Albany and Nell Spath of Greeley, Colorado; fifteen grandchildren and eleven great grandchildren.
Arthur’s family is asking that, in lieu of flowers, contributions be made toward funeral expenses and hospital bills in care of Sweet Home Funeral Chapel, 1443 Long Street, Sweet Home, OR 97386.
