William George Thompson, 90, of Sweet Home, Oregon passed away Sunday, May 12, 2013. He was born in Long Beach, California to Walter C. and Corda Molder Thompson.

He enjoyed working in his yard, carpentry, and helping his family.

William is survived by: his daughter, Charleen Moore of Sweet Home; grandson, Philip Thompson of Sweet Home; granddaughters, Suzanne Lucas of Beaverton and Drenda Thompson of Sweet Home; four great grandchildren; and one great, great granddaughter.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Helen, and son, David.

A graveside service with military honors will take place at 11:00 a.m., Friday, May 24, at Gilliland Cemetery in Sweet Home.

Arrangements are under the direction of Sweet Home Funeral Chapel.
