On November 29, 2024, Bill Kennedy passed away at age 88 from melanoma. Bill was born on May 19, 1936, in Hillsboro, Oregon, to Louis and Lillian (Stanfield) Kennedy and was raised in Cascadia with his parents and twelve siblings.

Bill was married to Irene Price Kennedy for 67 years until her death in 2021. Bill was a logger and had a long career with Willamette Industries.

Bill is survived by his children: Mike Kennedy, Faron Kennedy, Trixie Jennifer Kennedy, and Chris (Loreena) Kennedy, of Sweet Home; his sister Virginia (Perry) Schlabach, of Jefferson; his grandchildren. Jeff Kennedy of Sweet Home, Felicia (Kevin) Hart of Sodaville, Rachel (Nick) Kozell of Salem, and Tim Kennedy of Sweet Home; and many loved and adored great grandchildren. Bill is preceded in death by his spouse, his parents and 11 siblings.

A celebration of his life will be at held at 1 p.m. on Saturday, January 18, at New Life in Christ Fellowship, 1266 44 th Ave, Sweet Home.
