Wayne Allan Tucker
September 13, 1944 – August 14, 2023

Wayne Allan Tucker, 78, of Foster passed away, August 14, 2023. He was born September 13, 1944 to Mary (Chapman) and Glenn Tucker in Eugene.

He was an Army E7 inducted in 1963 and retired in 1983. He received many medals and honors including three purple hearts during his 20 years of service. He served mostly overseas retiring from the military in Colorado. He then worked as a deputy for the sheriffs office. Eventually moving to Oregon as a mail carrier in Newport and later retiring from retail.

Wayne enjoyed fishing, hunting, camping, spending time with family, studying and teaching history and watching football.

He is survived by his wife Veneta Tucker; brother Everette Tucker; children Martina Tucker, Michael Tucker, Matt Tucker, Willy Breckenridge, 15 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren. Preceded in death by sisters Ramona Lusardi, Elma Redman, Margie Nash, Norain Elliott.

Memorial service will be 2 pm Sunday, August 27th at Sweet Home VFW.
