Walter “Chris” DeVault, 60, of Sweet Home, Oregon passed away Friday, November 13, 2020. He was born in St. Maries, Idaho to Walter Charles DeVault and Sharon Lee (Barker) Stanick. He spent time in Junction City and Troy, Montana. He came to Sweet Home in 2002. He spent his last year in Prewitt Care Home in Albany.

Chris graduated from the Pearl Buck Center in Eugene around 1978. He studied Computer Tech. He enjoyed gardening, fishing, and wrestling. Most of all, he loved spending time with his mom.

Chris is survived by siblings: Cindy Rogers of Lewiston, Idaho; Wesley DeVault of Sweet Home; and Chelsea DeVault of Sweet Home. He was preceded in death by: his mother, Sharon Stanick, December 8, 2019; father, Walter DeVault, March 22, 2017; sister, Sherry DeVault, December 15, 1979; and his step-father, Eugene Stanick, December 10, 2013.
