Timothy Charles Shipp
March 1, 1954 – May 25, 2023

Timothy Charles Shipp, 69, of Sweet Home, passed away Thursday, May 25, 2023 at Corvallis Samaritan Hospital after a long battle with heart disease. He was born in Sweet Home to Doyle V. and Evelyn E. (Jones) Shipp.

Timothy graduated from Sweet Home High School in 1972 and got his Pilot’s License in 1979. He had a small business named Oregon Gold, where he sold Oregon Maple Burls internationally. He had a wicked sense of humor which many will remember him by.

Tim is survived by his son, Eric Shipp of Sweet Home; grandson, Ethan Shipp of Bend; sister, Sharon Forsell of Keizer; brother, David Shipp of Murrysville, Pennsylvania, brother, Kevan Shipp of Albany, and Robin Shipp of Albany Oregon. He was preceded in death by his parents.

Graveside service will be 1pm Friday June 2nd at Gilliland Cemetery in Sweet Home. Sweet Home Funeral Chapel is handling arrangements. www.sweethomefuneral.com.
