Thelma Phyllis Paddock, 80, of Sweet Home, Oregon passed away Friday, September 12, 2014. She was born in Cortez, Colorado to John Kelton and Elizabeth (Clark) Seibert.

Her family lived in Cortez, Colorado before settling in Scotts Mills, and then moved to Sweet Home. Thelma attended school and graduated from Sweet Home High School. She married Dean Paddock on June 29, 1956 in Junction City.

She enjoyed cooking, sewing, and gardening. Thelma loved getting together and having meals with her family. She worked with 4-H and elementary school children.

Thelma is survived by: children Kathy Rice and Judy Paddock of Sweet Home and Tammy Bernards and husband Scott of Carlton; brothers Jim Seibert, Doug Seibert, and Bill Seibert; sisters Doris Garron and Linda Blankenship; and seven grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by: her husband, S. Dean Paddock; parents; and brothers, Eddie Seibert and Bud Seibert.

Viewing will be from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m., Wednesday, September 17, at Sweet Home Funeral Chapel. Graveside service will be at 11:00 a.m., Thursday, September 18, at Liberty Cemetery.
