Terry Lee Carper, 60, of Sweet Home, Oregon passed away Wednesday, May 8. He was born in Lebanon to John William and Kathryn Evon (Denver) Carper.

He lived in Sweet Home all his life. He enjoyed working on cars, landscaping, and steelhead fishing on the river behind the Carper house. He loved Camero’s, rock hunting, collecting Hot Wheels, and tinkering around.

Terry is survived by sons Dustin Carper and Jeremy Olson of Sweet Home; step-daughter Jolena Harness of Riverdale, California; siblings Marie Kennelly of Idaho Falls, Idaho, Barlow Carper of Sweet Home, and Rose McMillian of Salem; several grandchildren; nephews Shawn Boyes of Sweet Home and Brian Boyes of Idaho Falls, Idaho; aunt Bonnie; and many cousins across the countrtyside.

He was preceded in death by his parents; daughter Corene Carper; brothers John William “Billy” Carper and John W. “York” Carper, Jr.

Graveside service will be at 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, May 15, 2019 at Lewis Cemetery.
