Steve D. Meyer, 65, of Sweet Home, Oregon passed away Friday, September 8. He was born in Lebanon to Dennis M. and Elvia (VanDuyn) Meyer.

He graduated from Sweet Home High School in 1970 and completed his college education at OIT in Klamath Falls where he graduated with a survey engineering degree. After college, he moved to Eugene, where he worked for EWEB until he retired and moved back to Sweet Home.

Steve was an avid outdoorsman who loved hunting, fishing, and camping with family and friends. Steve was a loving, caring, and strong-willed man who faced life’s adversities with determination and a smile. He will forever be loved and missed.

He is survived by his sons, Nick Meyer and Todd Meyer (Diedre Wadley); sisters Tami Johnson and Tanya Guzman; his partner of love, Debbie Doll, and her daughter, Brianna Leiferman; and grandchildren Wyatt and Loralai.

Steve is preceded in death by his parents, Dennis and Elvia Meyer.

By his wishes, a Celebration of Life will be held in the summer of 2018 at the property he loved in Sweet Home, Oregon.
