Stephen Earl Kennedy, 22, of Sweet Home passed away Friday. He was born in Corvallis to Parry Christman and Lisa (Kennedy) Patchett.

Stephen was raised in Albany. He was a cross country runner and graduated from South Albany High School. Stephen moved to Sweet Home in October 2011.

Stephen was very helpful, especially caring for the elderly. He was a certified child care provider. Stephen loved animals especially his cat “Paisley” and dog “Dozer”. He loved watching professional wrestling. He enjoyed life.

Stephen is survived by: his mom and step-dad, Lisa and Craig Patchett of Albany; sisters, Katelyn George and Kimberly Kennedy of Albany; nephew, Zachary George; uncles, Larry Kennedy and Gerry Kennedy; aunt, Sandi Foulke; grandmas; Patsy Moore and Teri Polequin of Albany; special friends, Stephanie and Whitney Ballard, Tyesen Bass, Mitchell Robinson, and Chester “Papa” Neal of Sweet Home; grandma, Dar Bass of Lebanon; and many cousins.

He was preceded in death by his father, Parry Christman, and grandparents, Earl and Carol Kennedy.

A Memorial service will be held at a later date.

Arrangements are under the direction of Sweet Home Funeral Chapel.
