Starla Rhae Carlson Flick, 56, of Sweet Home passed away Saturday at her home. She was born in Sioux City, Iowa to Patrick Leo and Mary Jane (Stewart) Flick.

Starla lived in California before moving recently to Sweet Home.

She was a teacher and traveled all around the world teaching computer skills. Her faith and family meant a lot to her.

Starla is survived by: her sisters, Sandra Mallette of Hawaii and Mary Lynn Fowler of Nebraska; and brothers, Bob Roth of New Mexico, John Flick of Albany, Mike Flick of Lebanon, and Jim Oviatt of Sweet Home. She was preceded in death by her parents.

Memorial contributions can be made in her name to The Rez Church.

A Celebration of Life service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, August 20, at The Rez Church in Foster, Oregon 97345.

Arrangements are under the direction of Sweet Home Funeral Chapel.
