A viewing will be held from 3:00 to 6:00 p.m., Tuesday, June 14, and from 3:00 to 6:00 p.m., Wednesday, June 15, at Sweet Home Funeral Chapel.

The family is planning a potluck picnic to celebrate Stacey’s life at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, June 25, at Cascadia Park. Everyone is welcome.

Stacey Ray Rogers, 42, of Sweet Home passed away Thursday, June 9, after a brief battle with brain cancer. He was born in Lebanon, Oregon on November 5, 1968.

Stacey grew up in Cascadia and attended school in Sweet Home. He graduated from Sweet Home High School in 1987. He worked for Triple T Studs throughout his senior year of high school and continued working there until he went to work for Oremet in Albany in . He loved his job and the people he worked with.

Stacey married Sherry Allen July 10, 1993. They had two children, Brianna and Devin, whom he adored. Stacey and Sherry later divorced.

Stacey was currently in a relationship with Sandra Cook. He loved her daughters, Tonya and Katen.

Stacey’s favorite pastime was riding his Harley. He also loved to go camping, fishing, riding quads, and taking the kids to the lake in his boat. He loved spending time with his family and friends. Stacey had a great sense of humor and loved teasing. We will miss that.

Stacey is survived by: his children, Brianna and Devin Rogers; parents, Walt Rogers and Janie and Jerry Berg; sisters, Jody Berg, Donna McDougal, and Megan Rogers; brothers, Leland and David Rogers; grandmother, Nona Rogers; girlfriend, Sandra Cook and her daughters, Tonya Cook and Katen Edwards; nephew, Beau Rogers; and many good friends.

Stacey was preceded in death by two brothers, Bobby and Michael Rogers.
