Sherry L. Rose, age 68, of Sweet Home passed away Thursday, June 25. She was born March 17, 1941 in Forest Grove, Oregon; the daughter of Dean R. and Lucille B. (Hall) Lichtenthaler.

Sherry lived in Lincoln City in her younger years, where she eventually started her family. She later resided in Lebanon, and then Sweet Home.

Sherry was a dedicated and wonderful mother and grandmother.

She is survived by: her children, Denise Roberts of Sweet Home, Tracy Rose of Albany, Steve Pearcy of Lebanon, Janet LeLacheur of Winnemucca, Nevada, and Larry Pearcy of Terrebonne, Oregon; 18 grandchildren; and 23 great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by: her parents; son, Marty Pearcy; a grandson; and a granddaughter.

A graveside service is planned for 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, June 30, 2009 at Lewis Cemetery in Foster, Oregon. Sweet Home Funeral Chapel is handling services.
