Sharon “Peaches” Fanning, 72, of Lebanon, Oreogn and formerly of Sweet Home passed away Wednesday, July 27. She was born in Oxnard, California to Earl and Mary (Cress) Cox. After marrying, Sharon moved to Central, California with her husband and raised four children before moving to Sweet Home in 2002.

Sharon worked in transportation for the school district. She enjoyed reading, crochet, crossword puzzles, and Sudoku. She loved animals, especially her elephants and her dog, Shadow.

Sharon is survived by her husband, Gary, of Lebanon; daughters Deanna of California and Tammie of Idaho; sons Rob of Beaverton and Steven of Tigard; eleven grandchildren; and six great grandchildren.
