Shane Steinbacher, 45, of Sweet Home, Oregon passed away Sunday, December 15, 2019. He was born in Lebanon to Robert and Kathy (Grissom) Steinbacher.

He was raised in the Sweet Home but spent a better chunk of his adulthood in Alaska. Best damn loader operator in all of Alaska. He worked at Quality Sand and Gravel, as well as Anchorage Sand and Gravel.

Shane enjoyed fishing, hunting, snow machining, motor cross, rock hounding, and hiking. He loved spending time with his family.

He is survived by children Britni Sylvester, Brent Sylvester, Saesha Lewis, and Stephani Brockman; parents Robert “Tony” and Kathy Jo Steinbacher; siblings Steven Steinbacher, Selena Steinbacher, Shawna Yunke, and Seth Steinbacher; and eleven grandchildren.

A family memorial will be at a later date.
