Santa De La Pena, 81, of Sweet Home, Oregon passed away Thursday, May 14, 2020. She was born in National City, California to Francisco and Johanna Cruz.

She lived in Oceanside, California, and Sweet Home.

Teresa worked for the county of San Diego, California as a health nurse, a baby well nurse, and a private caregiver. She also worked in the mental ward at Tri City Hospital in Oceanside, California.

She enjoyed gardening, visiting lighthouses on the coast, yard sale-ing, and thrift store shopping. She loved dancing and overnight motel trips to the coast.

Teresa is survived by daughters, Toby De La Pena, Tammie Donavan, DeeDee De La Pena; son, Joe De La Pena; sisters, Ophelia Cruz Tactay, Irene Zamora; brother, Louie Nuno; eight grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph De La Pena, and sister, Frances De La Pena.
