Sally Jane Wallace, 77, of Sweet Home, Oregon passed away Thursday, May 28. She was born in El Dorado Springs, Missouri to Noel and La Retta (Harmon) Derr.

Sally graduated from The Dalles High School in June of 1956.

She married Cecil Wallace on May 15, 1959 in The Dalles where they met on a blind date. They moved to Sweet Home in 1962.

Gardening, sewing, reading, and making a home are what Sally loved to do. She was a housewife most of her life.

Sally is survived by her husband of 56 years, Cecil, and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her two sisters, Barbara Ruth Hille and Wilma Faye Martin.

Graveside services will be at 1:00 p.m., Tuesday, June 2, 2015 at Lewis Cemetery.
