Ruth Marjorie West, 90, of Sweet Home, Oregon passed away Thursday, April 19. She was born in Carlyle, Illinois to Robert Lee and Grace (McPike) Russell.

She has made a home in Illinois, Ohio, Florida, New Mexico, Wyoming, Montana, and Idaho, ultimately settling in Sweet Home in 1994.

Marjorie was a homemaker, concert pianist, piano teacher, accompanist, and member of the Billings Symphony Orchestra.

She enjoyed music, painting, sculpting, rock hunting, gourmet cooking, gardening, and canning.

Marjorie is survived by her husband of 70 years, Ronald West, of Sweet Home; children Christine West (Ed Schmitt) of Haugan, Montana, Dan (Chris) West of Eugene, Jeff (Lynn) West of Belgrade, Montana, Ruth (Lou) Polcari of Redding, California, and Sarah (Jon) Sleight of Puyallup, Washington; ten grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by Robert Russell and Roqua Wieland.

The memorial service will be at a later date.
