Ruth Lena Lucas, 93, of Lebanon, Oregon passed away Monday. She was born in Kensington, Minnesota to Emil and Florence (Thomas) Winzer.

She has lived in Black Duck, Minnesota, Drain, and Sweet Home at various times since the 1940s. She moved to Payette in 1988 when her daughter moved to Meridian, Idaho. Ruth returned to Sweet Home in 1990, and then moved to Lebanon in 2006.

She was active in her church for many years. She loved to sew.

Ruth is survived by: daughters Patricia Lucas and Lynn Morgan; son-in-law Robert Morgan; grandchildren Jarred, Justin, and Jeffrey; and eight great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Richard Lucas, in 2003.

Graveside service will be at 1:00 p.m., Saturday, October 10, 2015 at Gilliland Cemetery.
