Ruby Christine Irby, 88,of Sweet Home, Oregon passed away Tuesday, March 17, 2020. She was born in Des Arc, Arkansas to George and Ruth (Nesbitt) Thermon.

She lived in Sweet Home for 60 years.

Ruby was a member of the Pentecostal Church in Sweet Home. She was involved in many service projects locally and internationally. She was a hard worker. She worked as a harvester for many summers picking strawberries, beans, and hops.

She loved to crochet and knit. She collected dolls and made clothes for them to send overseas to different missions. She made hats for cancer patients and many others. She was very lovable.

Ruby is survived by sons Claude Irby of Dallas and Russell Irby of Sweet Home; two grandchildren; and three great grandchildren.

She was preceded in by her husband, George Calvin Irby, and siblings George, Dean, Albert “Buck,” and Margaret.
