Roy E. Baker

Roy E. Baker, 78, of Lebanon, passed away on Friday. He was the youngest of seven children born to Matt and Fay (Jarmir) Baker in Silverton.
Roy served in the US Army from 1954 to 1959 reaching the rank of Specialist 4th Class.
In 1967, while living in California, Roy married Diane Delaney. They were married 17 years and had two daughters before moving back to Oregon where he spent many years working and traveling as a truck driver.
Roy married Jean Hallmark in 1985 in Salem. They were married 28 years most of which he drove truck.
In 2013 Roy gave his life to our Lord and Savior and had attended New Beginning Fellowship Int. in Lebanon.
Roy is survived by his daughters, Teresa Burrece and Monique Baker both of Lebanon; sister, Lola Neal of Albany; five step-children; and many grandchildren and great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, Matt and Fay Baker; brothers, Forrest, Lynn and Lloyd Baker; and sisters, Anna, and Vera.
Service were held Saturday July 19th at the Lebanon Boys and Girls Club.
