Rose Ann Ellis, 48, of Sweet Home, Oregon passed away Saturday, September 14, 2013. She was born in North Bend to Arvel and Joan (Groshong) Ash. She lived in Sweet Home most of her life.

She was a homemaker. She attended the Rez Church.

Rose loved spending time with her children and grandchildren.

Rose is survived by: her children, Chris, Jared, and Zach Stegner and Mikayla Ellis; grandchildren, Caleb and Lukas Stegner and Coltinn Jakeway; and siblings, Paula Steingiesser, Karla Drongesten, Eddie Bond, Arvel Ash, Sharon Ash, Faron Ash, Sarah Stearns, Esther Ash, and Roberta Cannell.

She was preceded in death by: her mother, Joan Bond; father, Arvel Ash; step-father, Robert Bond; and grandson, Connor Stegner.

A celebration potluck will be at 1:00 p.m., Saturday, October 5, 2013 at Pioneer Park in Brownsville.
