Ronald Lee Gardner, 67, of Albany, Oregon passed away Saturday, September 8. He was born in Lebanon to Donald L. and Betty J. (Such) Gardner.

He was raised in Sweet Home. He lived and worked in Corvallis for many years.

Ronald worked at Open Door Workshop in Corvallis and also for the janitorial services at OSU.

He loved collecting baseball caps and pens.

Ronald is survived by his mom, Geraldean Gardner, formerly of Sweet Home, now in Redmond; sisters Kathryn Russell of Salem and Karolyn Crocker of Redmond; five nieces; two nephews; special caregiver Norah Eaton; and the staff of the Shortridge Home.

He was preceded in death by father Donald Gardner; birth mother Betty Such; and brother Reggie Gardner.

A graveside service will be at 11:00 a.m., Monday, September 17, at Gilliland Cemetery.

Sweet Home Funeral Chapel is handling arrangements.
