Roger Wayne Gilman, 78, of Sweet Home, Oregon passed away Saturday, December 30. He was born in Brockton, Massachusetts to Charles Arthur and Dorothy A. (Kenerson) Gilman.

He was a member of the United Methodist Church and was active at the Sweet Home Senior Center.

Roger enjoyed gardening, singing, and reading.

He is survived by his wife, Delena Gilman, of Sweet Home; sons William and his wife, Heidi Gilman, of Monroe, Washington, Jonathan L. Gilman of New Jersey, Timothy A. and his wife, Eva Gilman, of Puyallup, Washington; eleven grandchildren; and twelve great-grandchildren.

Roger was preceded in death by his brothers, Norman and Richard, and sister, Barbara Smith.

A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Thursday, January 4, at the United Methodist Church in Sweet Home.

Memorial contributions can be made in Roger’s name to the Sweet Home United Methodist Church.
