Roger Purl Johnston, 61, of Sweet Home passed away Thursday. He was born in Garden City, Kansas to Roy and Denzel (Honstead) Johnston.

He served in the United States Navy.

Roger enjoyed fishing and trains.

He is survived by: his children, Alicia Furrey, Tim Johnston, Tina Cox, Mathew Johnston, James Johnston; sisters, Janet and Phyllis; and grandchildren, Will, Cassie, Faith, Becca, Chris, Corbin, Gavin, Cadence, Mason, Aiden, Monte and Daxtyn.

Arrangements are under the direction of Sweet Home Funeral Chapel.
