Rod McCorkhill, 60, of Sweet Home passed away peacefully on February 21, 2022. He was born in Eugene to Dick and Connie (Kirsch) McCorkhill.

After Rod finished his time at school in Sweet Home, he went on to enjoy a life long career in the timber industry.

In 1984, Rod married Tammie in Sweet Home. Rod and Tammie went on to have many fur babies and nieces and nephews that they consider kids of their own.

Rod was a true outdoorsman, mentoring many in the woods. Trapping, hunting, fishing and reloading were all passions of his.

He is survived his wife Tammie; siblings: Jim and Tamara McCorkhill, Mike and Corky McCorkhill, Derek and Marsha McCorkhill, his fur babies and his many nieces and nephews.
