Rocky Mayer, 82, of Sweet Home passed away Wednesday at home. He was born in Putnam, Connecticut to Cleophas Wilfred and Jeanne Alder (Brissette) Mayer.

Rocky served in the United States Marine Corps. He was a police officer for many years in Redwood City, California.

He enjoyed fishing and hunting.

Rocky is survived by: his wife, Helen Mayer of Sweet Home; six children; two sisters; five grandchildren; and one great grandchild.

He was preceded in death by two children and one brother.

At his request, no services are planned.

Arrangements are under the direction of Sweet Home Funeral Chapel.
