Robert Earl Taylor, 82, of Sweet Home passed away Tuesday, May 7, 2024.
He was born on July 6, 1941 to Dorthea (Schulz) and John H. Taylor in Jefferson, Oregon.

He grew up in Sweet Home and worked in local mills until he went into the National Guard from 1964-1969. Bob lived in the Portland area for many years, where he worked as a fork lift driver at an aluminum fabrication warehouse.

In his younger years, he enjoyed deer hunting. He was a member of the Sweet Home Evangelical Church. Bob enjoyed being a part of the Sweet Home Evangelical Mens Group. He liked to help people with projects. He helped with Christmas tree sales and other events with the mens group.

He is survived by brothers: John “Jack” Taylor (Linda), William “Bill” Taylor, brother-in-law: Victor Troyer, and many cousins, nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by his parents, sister: Patricia Taylor, sister-in-law: Linda Taylor.
