Robert Dale Stratman
September 17, 1955 – August 16, 2024

Robert Dale Stratman, 68, of Sweet Home passed away Friday, August 16, 2024. He was born on September 17, 1955, to Roger Dale and Patricia Irene (Pickert) Stratman at Memphis Naval Air Station in Millington, Tennessee.

Bob had many adventures growing up as the family traveled to different Naval bases. He graduated from Sweet Home High School in 1973, and married Nancy on May 17, 1986. They raised their four children in Sweet Home on the family property.

Bob was a meticulous craftsman and has built anything from bunkbeds to homes that will be cherished for generations. He was appreciative of nature, enjoying a beautiful sunset, the calls and migration of birds and a tasty meal after a good day of fishing.

He was always willing to lend a hand and teach a skill to his children and grandchildren. He loved a good cup of coffee and racing RC cars with friends. He always had time for a golf cart ride with his grandkids. He was a good egg and will be missed.

Bob is survived by his wife Nancy J. (Jensen) Stratman; sons: Ray, Edwin, Jeffrey and daughter Katie; 13 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents Roger D. Stratman and Patricia I. (Pickert) Stratman; brother John M. Stratman.
