Richard Kirk, 94, of Lebanon, Oregon passed away Tuesday, May 3, 2016. He was a native Oregonian.

He was a combat veteran of World War II. While there, he helped to liberate three prison camps and assisted in the “Battle of the Bulge”.

Richard worked as a new construction and maintenance supervisor in the state of Alaska. He was a dedicated husband and father, and enjoyed fishing and hunting.

Richard is survived by his wife of 73 years, Arene; two children; and four grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his three siblings.

Funeral service will be at 10:00 a.m., Monday, May 9, at Sweet Home Evangelical Church. Burial and Military Honors will follow at Gilliland Cemetery.
