Ramsses Begovic, age 4, of Sweet Home, died Thursday. He was born to Arlo and Scheherazade Begovic in Lebanon.

Ramsses lived in Sweet Home. He was diagnosed with Neuroblastoma and had been treated since June 6 at Doernbecher Children’s Hospital in Portland.

Ramsses liked taking walks with his family, picking flowers, and giving them to his family, and singing and dancing. He collected bear related items his whole life. As a boy, he liked Spider-Man, Weird Al, and Mario. He enjoyed his nurses—he liked pretty girls.

Ramsses was a caring and unique individual, people enjoyed being with him. He lived like a king, living up to his royal name.

He is survived by his mother and father, Scheherazade and Arlo Begovic, and sister, Fatima.

Viewing will be held Saturday September 1st from 9:00 am to noon at Sweet Home Funeral Chapel, with a memorial service following at 1:00 pm.
