It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Phillis Ann Thedford, beautiful wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend. Phillis went to join her mother Esther, father Kenneth and brother Fred Majors on Friday, August 16, 2024.

Phillis was born October 24th, 1943 in Lebanon, Oregon to Kenneth and Esther Majors. Phillis met and married the love of her life, Bob Thedford, and spent 64 devoted and happy years together. The two raised five wonderful children and gave them a childhood full of love, adventure and support. Phillis had a smile that would light up a room. Her joyful spirit was always on display when she was playing with her many beautiful grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Phillis’ joy for life was equally matched by her artistic talent. Her many passions included quilting, sewing, painting, gardening, and flowers. ALL FLOWERS. Phillis’ love for flowers eventually led her to floral design school and a career as a talented florist for many years.

Her legacy lives on through husband Bob, children, Kathleen Christensen, Dar Hummer, Eileen Evan, Mark Thedford and Brenda Fisher, sisters Ginny Williams and Cheryl Evans, as well as 11 grandchildren, and 24 great grandchildren.

Her memory lives within us but her presence will be forever missed. Funeral service will be 11:00 am, Friday, August 23, 2024 at Community Chapel in Sweet Home. Final burial will be at Gilliland Cemetery. Sweet Home Funeral Chapel is handling arrangements. www.sweethomefuneral.com.
