Peggy Joyce Robertson, 84, a long-time resident of Brownsville, Oregon, passed away Tuesday, April 3, in Albany. She was born in Pollard, Arkansas to Cecil and Betty (Benson) Karnes.

Peggy moved to Bandon in 1954, and then moved to Sweet Home in 1963. She worked at White’s Electronics from 1975 to 1994. She had been a member of Cornerstone Fellowship since 1986.

Peggy met Ben Robertson in April of 1950, and they married six months later on October 28, 1950. They were married for 68 years.

Peggy enjoyed gardening, camping, fishing, and hunting. She loved her family and grandchildren.

Peggy is survived by her husband, Ben Robertson; children Benny Neil, Rick, and Darlene Townsend; sister Pat; brother Pete; seven grandchildren; and sixteen great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her son, David Robertson; grandson Micah Townsend; a brother; and sister.

A memorial service will be at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, May 5, at Cornerstone Fellowship.
