Patricia Lou Ribe, 73, of Sweet Home passed away Friday. She was born in Gary, Indiana to Emil M. and Euvena Mae (Shannon) Schwimmer.

Patricia grew up in California and moved to Oregon in 1969. She lived mostly in Junction City.

Her main passion was raising and training horses.

Patricia is survived by her children: Bill Schwimmer of Knoxville, Tennessee, Patty Hansen of Monroe; brothers: Buddy Schwimmer of Highland, California, Randy Schwimmer of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; three grandchildren; three great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband Max L. Ribe; one sister; and one brother.
