Patricia Joy Witt, 57, of Sweet Home passed away Saturday peacefully surrounded by her family. She was born in Springville, New York to John and Patricia Ann (Bourgoine) Santello.
She has lived in Springville, New York, Montana before settling in Sweet Home in 2010 to raise her three grandchildren.
Patty enjoyed horses, Harley rides and dancing. She loved the outdoors and taking random fun trips. It was always about the quality of life and making the best of what she had. She was a longtime faithful employee of The Point Restaurant. Patty was a very strong woman. She was selfless and cared about helping others. She was a huge dog lover and left behind her beloved “Harry”. Patty always wanted people around her.
Most of all Patty loved her family. She always made sure her family came first. She made a seemingly impossible situation seem doable. She worked extremely hard to give her family everything they needed. She was raising her three grandchildren until her passing.
Patty is survived by children: Amber Clifton of Idaho, Justin Clifton of Hayden, Idaho, Katie Witt of Port Orford; grandchildren: Christian Clifton, Julianna and Triniti Taylor, Jasmine Smith, Bryson and Brayden O’Brien; mother and step father Patricia and Les Bourgoine of Lebanon; siblings: Dorthy and her husband Keith Fitzmaurice of Vancouver, Washington, Kenneth and his wife Cindy Patterson of Menifee, California; nephew Jason Adams of Lake Elsinore, California; nieces: Marin and her husband Matt Hislop of Corvallis, Melina Patterson of Tigard, Christina and her husband Jeff Ross of Menifee, California.
She was preceded in death by first husband William Gregory Clifton in 1997; second husband Gary Thomas Witt in 2009; and brother William John Santello in 1957.
Celebration of Life will be 3pm Saturday February 18th at Sweet Home Elks Lodge.
