Naomi Joyce VanWagner, 92, passed away Thursday, October 3, in Eugene, Oregon. She was born in Nebraska to Earl and Mary (Davidson) Sisty. She was born first of twins and very proud of being a twin.

She married Jake VanWagner. Jake worked in construction and they moved around throughout their marriage. She lived in Oregon later in life and settled in Sweet Home after retirement.

Naomi attended 18th and Long Christian Church in Sweet Home.

She enjoyed knitting, crocheting, and entering her work in fairs and contests. She loved playing games and getting together with friends.

Naomi is survived by her very dear friend, Evelyn Brown, and some distant relatives that she lost contact with in recent years.

She was preceded in death by: her husband, Jake VanWagner; her twin sister, Janice; brother Darrel; and her cat, Cascade.

Viewing will take place at 10:00 a.m., Friday, October 11, at Sweet Home Funeral Chapel. A funeral service will follow at 11:00 a.m., at Sweet Home Funeral Chapel. Private burial will be at Gilliland Cemetery.
