Nancy Holmes, 75, of Sweet Home, Oregon passed away Thursday, February 22. She was born in Chico, California to Ray and Doris Dorcas (Cantwell) Broadbent.

She moved to Oregon from California in 1973. In 1986, she moved to her dream-home acerage.

Nancy worked for 25 years as a tax consultant at Sweet Home Bookkeeping and Little Promises Children’s Program. She retired as a secretary at Sweet Home Evangelical Church.

She ate, breathed, and loved her horses. She enjoyed endurance riding and trail rides. She figured she had ridden over 12,000 miles.

Nancy is survived by her husband, Allan Holmes, of Lebanon; daughter Kathy Nicholson of Stayton; son Greg Holmes and his wife, Abril, of Lebanon; and two grandchildren.

Memorial service will be at 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, March 7, at Sweet Home Evangelical Church.
