Muriel Patricia Farnsworth, 89, of Sweet Home, Oregon died Friday, December 25, 2015 at her home.

Muriel was born October 6, 1926 in Glendale, CA; the daughter of Dale Kenneth and Mildred Amelia (Crandall) Farnsworth, Sr. She moved to Drain, OR in 1945 with her father.

In her teens, Muriel met William Cool, and they later married. They had two daughters. Their marriage ended in divorce. Muriel remarried to John Richard Hays, but that ended in a divorce. Some time later, she married Arthur Doringland. They were married many years while living in the Portland, OR. Muriel divorced him and moved to Lebanon in 1990. Eventually, she settled in Sweet Home.

Muriel enjoyed gardening and watching the Trail Blazers and Tiger Woods. She had a reputation of being a perfectionist and having an eye for details.

Muriel is survived by one daughter, Jennifer Wymetelek of Medford, OR; brothers, Dale K. Farnsworth, Jr., Arthur Farnsworth, and John Farnsworth; eight grandchildren; twelve great grandchildren; and one great, great grandson.

She was preceded in death by one daughter, Janet Huber.
