Michael Adair, 80, of Albany, Oregon passed away Wednesday, October 10, 2018. He was born August 15, 1938 to Catherine and Randolf Adair. Mike grew up in Lebanon, Oregon and moved to Albany where he was a teacher at Liberty Elementary for 27 years. He was lovingly married to Beverly Adair for 39 years.

Mike was an avid outdoorsman and enjoyed fishing, bicycling, backpacking, and mountain climbing. Mike’s favorite places included the Metolius River and Mt. Rainier.

He was very much beloved by his family, students, friends, and church. Mike was active in his church for 40 years. Mike was much loved by his grandchildren.

Mike is survived by his wife, Beverly, his son, Randy, and his step-children, Deanne, Sherri, and Greg. His grandchildren are Zachary, Tia, and Jadie, Chris, and Amber.

A celebration of Mike’s life will be held at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, October 20, at the Church of Jesus Christ Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints Church; 28th Street, 1615 SE 28th Avenue, Albany. In lieu of flowers, you may contribute to the Alzheimer’s Association.
