Mayco Clara Wiles, age 79, of Sweet Home passed away Sunday. She was born in Oklahoma to Virgal and Minnie (Rogers) Martin.
She attended Buck Creek Elementary and Panama High School. Mayco married Walter Riley Wiles on June 11, 1949 in Oklahoma. They came to Sweet Home soon after.
Mayco worked at the Harrisburg molding plant, Stayton Cannery, and Whites Electronics. After many years of working, Mayco and Walter retired from their jobs. They enjoyed life and spending time outdoors. Mayco loved hunting, camping, canning, and being a homemaker.
Mayco is survived by sons. John and wife Melody of Sweet Home, Ralph and wife Diane of Brookings, and Jerry of Sweet Home; sister, Johnnie Goodson of Albuquerque, New Mexico; seven grandchildren; and twelve great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Walter Wiles; son, Ron Wiles; three brothers; and three sisters.
Memorial contributions can be made in her name to the American Cancer Society.
