Mavis Adaline Robinson, 81, of Sweet Home passed away Sunday, June 22, 2014. She was born in Troy, Idaho to Pearl Chase and Wava Dell Robinson. She was the youngest in the family of six girls and four boys. She spent most of her childhood with her siblings, since their parents passed away while she was young.

Mavis moved to Sweet Home from Florence in the spring of 2008. She enjoyed cooking, crocheting, knitting, sewing, and embroidering. She loved collecting ceramic dolls and frogs and playing Bingo at Wiley Creek. She considered raising her kids as her greatest accomplishment.

Mavis is survived by: her son, Steve and his wife Lynn Winona of Florence; daughters, Sherrie and her husband Rick Williams of Sweet Home and Terri and her husband Brent Knigge of Veneta; 11 grandchildren; 24 great grandchildren; and all of the extended family members at Wiley Creek Community.

She was preceded in death by: her husband, Robert Emil Winona, on August 3, 1973; son, Robert George Winona, on February 19, 1999; and all of her siblings.
