Matthew Ray White, 37, of Sweet Home, Oregon passed away Tuesday, May 2. He was born in Roseburg to Les Dimich and Loretta Mae White.

He lived in Roseburg most of his life. He was the owner and auto mechanic for Affordable Auto Repair.

Matthew loved gardening, camping with friends, fishing, and playing guitar. When he was younger, he loved classical music, especially Mozart. He was an avid outdoorsman, and he lived rough and played hard. He was an animal lover. He especially loved his puppy, Milo, and cat, Noocar.

He is survived by his mother, Loretta Weatherford, of Wichitah Falls, Texas; fiancée Rebecca Correll of Sweet Home; father Les Dimich of Red Lodge, Montana; uncle Donald White; aunt Novella Clark; and cousins Daniel, Neal, Andrew, and Mac White.

A memorial service will be at noon Thursday, May 11, at The Father’s House, 378 E. 2nd Ave., Sutherlin, Oregon.
