Mark L. McVay, 53, of Sweet Home, Oregon passed away Wednesday, November 21, 2018. He was born in White Salmon, Washington to Norma Jean (Young) and Robert Dale McVay.

He enjoyed building fishing poles and working on his truck. He loved fishing with his best friend, Benjamin Pementel, at his favorite fishing hole at Green Peter Reservoir.

He is survived by mother and step-father Norma Jean and Willard Wayne Wodtli of Lebanon; sons Mark McVay Junior and Donald McVay of Wheeler; brothers Scott McVay of Burns and David Shook of Brush Prairie, Washington; sisters Tamara Shook of Netarts and Cynthia Calvert of Poulsbo, Washington; many nieces and one nephew.

A memorial service will be at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, December 15, 2018 at Full Gospel Church in Sweet Home.
