Mark Harrison Hilliker, 59, of Sweet Home passed away Thursday. He was born in Longview, Washington to Robert Harrison and Evelyn Wilda (Varley) Hilliker.

He lived in Clatskanie until 1957 when he moved to Oakridge. In 1963, he moved to Sweet Home.

Mark worked most of his life at Willamette Industries in Sweet Home and his last place of employment was Entek in Lebanon.

He loved the outdoors, fishing, and camping. He had interests in digging, cutting, and polishing rocks of various kinds. He also enjoyed hiking and rock climbing. He loved helping and being available to others.

Mark is survived by: his brother,Lloyd O. Hilliker of Beaverton; sisters-in-law; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

He was preceded in death by: his parents, Robert (1975) and Evelyn (1979) Hilliker; brothers, Robert Larry Hilliker (2003); and Darrell Lee Hilliker (2007).

A Celebration of Life gathering is planned for 1:30 p.m., Saturday, May 11, 2013 at Gilliland Cemetery in Sweet Home.

Arrangements are under the direction of Sweet Home Funeral Chapel.
