Lysa Chrystine Taylor, 54, of Sweet Home, passed away Monday, September 22, 2025. She was born on November 4, 1970 to Christiane Anne (Beraud) and Robert Marcel Rom in Petaluma, California.

She grew up in California. Lysa met and married Marion Gerard Taylor in Santa Rosa in 1997. They moved to Oregon in 2005 and settled in Sweet Home in 2011. She worked as an Activities Assistant Director at a nursing home.

When she was younger she was involved with her dad in community theater. Lysa also raised rabbits when she was younger and loved animals. Her mom was from France so they traveled to Paris many times to visit family. She liked playing games, she would host murder mystery parties. Lysa enjoyed going to the coast.

She is survived by her husband Marion Gerard Taylor of Sweet Home, sister Lori Imoto (Fred) of Napa, California and nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; sister Linda Rom, and brother Rick Rom.
